The story
The brief
Oden Coffee roasts small batches and sells them in a dozen cafes. They had a loyal following and a logo drawn on a napkin. They wanted to look as good as the coffee tasted without losing the napkin’s charm.
The approach
We built the identity around field notes: ruled pages, hand-written tasting notes and a small system of stamps that mark origin, roast and altitude. Every bag is a page from the roaster’s notebook.
The packaging system lets the roaster change the story each season without redesigning anything. A single sleeve, three paper stocks and a set of stamps cover forty releases a year.
The result
Wholesale orders grew by a third in the first six months, and three of the cafes asked to carry the stamps on their own menus.
